hygger Intelligent Auto Top Off System — ATO Water Level Refill Controller for Reef and Freshwater Tanks

Overview

Keep aquarium evaporation in check with the Hygger Intelligent Auto Top Off System, a smart ATO controller designed for reef breeders and freshwater setups. This compact unit blends real-time monitoring with a dependable refill pump, delivering a quiet, low-maintenance solution that helps you maintain stable water levels without constant manual top-offs.

Key Capabilities

• Real-time water level monitoring using magnetic induction for stable performance even with bubbles or wave action.
• Auto-fill function triggers when the water level drops and automatically stops once the upper limit is reached.
• Fail-safe design includes a top-level probe, red indicator, and buzzer alarm to prevent dry running and unexpected interruptions.
• Multi-function controller with temperature monitoring (F/C), automatic replenishment, and a manual mode to adjust refill volume as needed.
• Magnetic mounting on glass up to 3/8 inch thick for easy installation and flexible placement.
• Includes a mini DC-powered pump and soft hose capable of drawing from a bucket with a head height up to 4.9 feet; also suitable for draining.

Real-World Scenarios

• Ideal for reef tanks where evaporation can vary with lighting and water circulation.
• Helpful for freshwater setups that require a stable top-off to preserve salinity or pH balance.
• Great for vacations or busy periods when you want reliable, automated maintenance.
• Suitable for systems needing precise top-off control without complex plumbing or frequent adjustments.

How It Works

The hygger ATO system continuously monitors water levels and uses a compact pump to maintain the target range. When levels dip below the set point, the pump activates and refills until the upper limit is reached. A dedicated reservoir probe adds a safety layer, triggering alerts if water becomes unexpectedly low and automatically halting the pump if it risks running dry.

Setup & Compatibility

Designed for ease of use, the unit installs on tank glass up to 3/8 inch thick and ships with all essential components. The low-profile pump and flexible hose manage refill without kinking or leaks, and the system supports water movement from a bucket to the tank with a practical height head. The integrated controls also let you monitor temperature and adjust readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius, adding a layer of convenience for mixed-species environments.

What You Get

• Reliable ATO system with magnetic glass mounting
• Mini DC pump and soft hose for flexible installation
• Top-off sensor, reservoir probe, and audible alert for safety
• Temperature display with unit conversion and manual refill mode

Note: This device is designed to assist with water level stability and should be used as part of a broader aquarium maintenance routine. Benefits described are possibilities based on the system’s features and typical usage patterns.
