Description
xFresh, Soft, and Naturally Grown For Small Pets
Kaytee leads with fresh, tasty hay that small pets love. The 2nd Cut Timothy Hay is soft and lush, featuring long fiber strands and a favorable leaf to stem ratio designed for nibbling and pacing. It is grown specifically for small animals, harvested with care, and naturally grown without pesticides or artificial ingredients. The hay comes from fertile farmland bathed in sunlight and nourished by clean mountain water, contributing to a wholesome aroma and vibrant color that many pets respond to. A daily serving can provide texture variety and forage appeal that many owners notice in their companions.
What makes 2nd Cut Soft & Lush
- 2nd Cut Timothy Hay is Soft & Lush
- Perfect for the pet that prefers soft, tender hay
- America is the leading hay brand
- Naturally grown without pesticides
- Grown specifically for small animals
Why small pets may enjoy this hay
Expect a gentle, inviting texture and a pleasant aroma that can invite nibbling. The soft fibers are easier for small mouths to tackle, and the long fibers may encourage rhythmic chewing, which some pet owners associate with enrichment and daily activity.
Practical use and care
- Serve as the main forage or mixed with pellets to add variety
- Offer a fresh supply daily and monitor intake
- Storage matters for freshness; keep in a cool, dry place
- Replace hay daily to maintain peak aroma and flavor
- Provide fresh water alongside hay at all times
Storage and freshness tips
Keep the bag sealed between feedings and avoid exposure to humidity. Use within a reasonable time after opening, and check for color and aroma before serving. Fresh hay should appear green and fragrant, not musty.
Brand assurance
Kaytee is a long established brand trusted by many small animal households. This hay is naturally grown without pesticides and produced specifically for small animals. It reflects Kaytee commitment to sourcing quality forage with careful attention to texture and flavor.
