Elevate your terrarium with a lifelike waterfall feature

Transform your naturalistic enclosure with the Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Waterfall Kit. This all‑in‑one setup is designed to create a gentle cascading water feature that adds motion, sound, and depth to your vivarium. By combining a steady pump with a lightweight substrate and a simple drainage plan, you can achieve a naturalistic look without complicated setup. The result is a visually engaging focal point that invites closer observation and invites a sense of movement to the enclosure.

What’s included

• Water pump to sustain continuous water flow
• HydroBalls for improved drainage and reduced stagnation
• Terrarium mesh to keep substrate layers separate
• Plastic tubing and elbow to guide the flow from pump to waterfall
• Instruction booklet with setup tips and décor ideas

How it works and why it matters

The pump circulates water to create a flowing waterfall, while the HydroBalls and mesh help manage drainage and prevent mixing of layers. The routed tubing lets you control the direction and reach of the water feature, so you can tailor the effect to your setup.

Easy to install, versatile in use

All components are designed for quick assembly, so you can add a functioning waterfall to your naturalistic terrarium with minimal effort. It suits various species-friendly enclosures and welcomes decorative plants and natural ornaments to complete the scene.

Care, maintenance, and ideas

• Regularly inspect the pump and tubing for blockages and wear
• Clean the nozzle and refill water as needed to maintain flow
• Decorate with driftwood, stones, or live plants to enhance the scene

Real-life setups and possibilities

Whether you keep small reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates, the Waterfall Kit can serve as a striking centerpiece that encourages exploration. Pair it with live or faux plants and other natural decorations to craft a miniature riverside or rainforest corner within your enclosure.
